Broken Hoof on the Mend

This is my first attempt to ink with Illustrator and it shows.

Next time I will pay more attention to where the smoothing is set to and probably turn off pressure sensitivity and assign line width manually. Also need to learn how to easily connect lines and do stuff like that - I don't really understand what is "group", "ungroup", "merge into live group" ...

I will also think about just inking with Photoshop - though I kind of like having things in vector format.
